We have configured our account in Outlook as IMAP, We have 30 GB per client.
So we decided to move some old mails to local folder because we have the mailbox al 98%.
The problem is that when we move this mails at our local folder, the messages is still in the gmail server, so the mailbox is still at 98%.
We think those mails will saved in archived label/folder that we can't see in outlook.
If we removed mails from outlook then the mails removes correctly from gmail.
Is there any way that we could see this archived folder from gmail or Outlook to remove permanently this emails that we moved to local folder?
Thanks in advance
Ramon
@rcaralt I think the default behavior is to Archive the message .
May be you needs to change "When a message is marked as deleted and expunged from the last visible IMAP folder:" setting from your gmail settings accordingly.
Please let me know if it is already resolved such that we can make a note of the solution
