Hi Team,
Following the fix provided for https://github.com/jenkinsci/google-compute-engine-plugin/issues/503 agents that are suspended but still running a build are terminated as a part of the CleanLostNodesWork.
We have multiple pipelines that has an ephemeral agent just to orchestrate the job with further ephemeral agents that actually runs the stages. In such cases the orchestrating agents are usually assigned withe the suspended status but they still have a job running in it. Following the fix for the issue #503 we see that the agents are terminated.
Could you please advice on why this is happening and what has to be done to avoid this.
