Looking for Notion/Microsoft Lists alternative... is Google Tables discontinued?

We waited for the Google Tables too long, we urgently need a Kanban for our recruitment tracker... 

Does anyone know if will Google eventually launch Google Tables? If not we are moving to Microsoft365 for the Microsoft Lists

Tables will not be going forward as its own standalone product. Instead Google Tables has been reimagined into AppSheet DB, you can see the updated Tables FAQ here, you can still use a Kanban-style tracker, see the image below, you just have to do from AppSheet DB instead of the former Tables app.

@KevinApodaca sorry but you need to get the FAQ updated as what you highlighted says that Tables is still going to get released as its own product.

There's no mention of AppSheet whatsoever.

Yep, we will be updating the FAQ section to be more descriptive once we have finalized migration plans.

@KevinApodaca We face tremendous difficulty with using Google Drive/Sites as a wiki or knowledge base. 

For example, if we use Google Drive the search automatically defaults to the whole Org and not just the shared drive and Google Sites search is not useful if we are linking to docs. 

Another thing is when clicking a doc it launches a new tab which can be a pain. This is mostly why we consider Notion

Have explored other solutions like https://spaceli.io/ or YNAW but would like to keep everything in Drive/Sites.
