Lost Ability to Copy Text From Google Sheets Published Web.

I have a google sheet tab published as web and embedded as URL into our internal Google Sites. Due to our internal viewing/downloading access level, we have restricted a group of users who are unable to view/edit text directly from the Google Sheets. As an alternative solution, our team would copy text from the published web for internal reporting. However, as of 24th July 2024, the group of user has lost its ability to copy text from the published web. Has there been an update? What can we do to continue allowing the team to only copy text with restricted access to edit/download the Google Sheets file?

We are experiencing the same issue. Although using Chrome extension can do it too but it just takes additional steps.
