Lost Admin Password of 'Advanced Protection' Account and cannot Sign In

I lost my admin account password and I'm locked out. Trying to sign in returns:  'To recover your account, request a review by the Google Workspace support team. Reviews can take up to 72 hours'.

This account has 'Advanced Protection' enabled.

Where can I "request a review by the Google Workspace support team'?

Check out all the various options for recovering admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.

There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.

Hope that helps,

Ian

I'm just seeing your reply.  Thanks.

I tried all the relevant options on that linked page.  Ultimately, the Google Workspace "Account Recovery Team" (ART), referred to as "support-assisted recovery" on that page, has not been helpful.

The ART requested I change the domain's DNS, which I did.

This account was created before the Google Workspace brand was created.  I've been disappointed so far in the ART as we keep going in circles.  I'm losing confidence that the Account Recovery Team can help resolve the problem or aid me.  I've asked multiple times for someone in authority to intervene without a response to the request.

Is there another way to resolve or escalate this as my being locked out of my admin account may soon lead to incurred costs and possibly complete loss of access to that account?

Advice is appreciated.  Thanks.

@V-A my experience is that Google is not going to do anything unless they can 100% verify things.  They use the domain access and the access to the admin page to get support pins to do that.  There is no one to escalate to so I recommend you go through the steps they ask to verify the domain.  -KAM
