Mandatory MFA for Google Cloud includes Workspace domains?

Given the recent announcement, Mandatory MFA is coming to Google Cloud, does anyone know if this includes Workspace domains?

While I'm certainly in favor of using / requiring MFA everywhere, I do have some clients that still resist it (age demographic), so having a "requirement" would obviate any further convincing ... and I'd implement it immediately!

I can only speak as a site-based non-superadmin in my district. We made MFA mandatory for IT staff a couple of years ago. We made it mandatory for all staff about a year ago. It would not be practical to implement it for our students and I have heard of no plans to do so.

We did the same.
Since we are a K-12, as a last step we deployed it for Seniors as well -- good prep for adult life with online accounts.

@WhatWhyIt I would say the writing is on the wall from the Gmail rollout of mandatory MFA and now GCP but I don't think they've announced anything formally. -KAM
