Migrating from personal Gmail to Workspace picks up only 1 year worth of email

I'm trying to migrate the emails from a personal GMail account into my newly created workspace account email. I've set up the data migration, authorized and so on, all is well.

But...

It only picks up emails from the last year. Nothing older than that.

And I've found no settings that allow me to tweak this. Docs mention something about a migration start date but that seems to only apply to more generic "IMAP Migrations", and no questions or settings come up when migrating from GMail to Workspace.

Am I missing something?

To the surprise of maybe no one, I was 😄

So when setting up the data migration, the option does actually appear - albeit slightly hidden from view. The default is "from the last year". What was NOT so obvious to me was, that when you then add users to the data migration job, these settings never come up again. They're set for the "batch" so to speak.

I finished the data migration job entirely, set up a new one, and it's now running as expected.
