Mirroring Shared Drives

Currently, from Google Drive, I can mirror my Google cloud data.

However, it appears, due to the weird view that currently exists, that shared drives that I created and I manage cannot be mirrored.  They show up in my Google Drive, they just can't be mirrored.

Am I just missing how to do that?

Thanks

I'm a little confused as to what you mean my mirrored. Are you trying to access your Shared drive on your desktop using the Drive for Desktop app? It could be that you're using the legacy Backup and Sync client which only shows My Drive data. Download the new Drive for Desktop app and that might be the solution you're looking for.

I mean it in the context used by Google Drive for Windows. It lets me mirror Unshared Google drives, but not shared drives and in my Windows virtual drive.

I am not running backup and sync.

Perhaps you can share some screenshots of an example of what you mean. I'm still very confused, more than before I think.

Here is the mirroring option in Google Drive for Windows. But it only works on non-shared Google drive folders, not on shared drives. Shared drives that you create and share are, in Google’s world, not your files any more because you shared them, hence they are not mirrored.
