I was curious about a feature the Microsoft has that I hadn't seen on Google. Perhaps I'm wrong but sometimes I'd like to file my emails on the Gmail app. However, I have a lot of folders. Is there a search bar that is available so I can start typing in the folder name to expedite all of the scrolling to the appropriate folder?
By the way, I absolutely LOVE the fact that we can assign multiple folders to our emails. I have advised several small business owners to utilize Gmail over Microsoft and I would pick Google to manage my work place every time.
Hi,
I believe you are talking about Labels within Gmail which is Google's way to provide folder-like grouping.
If so, you can use the label: search operator to find emails with that label. In the gmail mobile application you can perform a similar search and use the drop downs to select a label, as well as a couple of other fields as seen in the first screenshot of this article . Is that what you are trying to do ?
