I'm looking to find out how I can control our shared documents to prevent others from seeing who is accessing our documents. So that everyone (both within our organization and external users) would appear as "anonymous" rather than seeing the names and email addresses of various business contacts.
If I as Admin were to give you access to a shared file, you wouldn't see the names/emails of the other viewers and they in turn wouldn't see yours - both for the icons showing up as active viewers AND in the list of who the file has been shared with.
Rather than relying on viewers to mark themselves as Anonymous Animals, I as Admin would be able to set restrictions so that everyone appears as anonymous.

Please @ me when you create the feature idea so I can vote it up as I can see use cases for this in our environment.
Hello!
That's not possible at the moment, maybe in future updates.
