Hoping someone can help me. We have checked most of the items suggested. We can send an email with a personal gmail to the division of a large organization. However, when I send it from our google hosted email they do not receive it. Also, when they 'reply to all' from the personal account email, the reply shows in my personal gmail but not the work one. They do not get a bounce back message when they initiate and we do not have evidence in the logs of any contact.
Otherwise, our email is working fine but its critical that we communicate with this group. I checked the 'CheckMX' in the google toolbox and got this (below) but when we investigate the errors at google or square space, it all appears to be in good order. Any help welcomed!
I'd definitely guess that the errors shown there are likely a lot to do with your problem.
A couple of articles to check out, to triple-check that all of your settings (especially MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) are set up properly:
Hope that helps, at least a little,
Ian
Thanks. it looks like Mx, SPF and DKIM are set up -- I'm looking at google and squarespace tools.
I'm at a loss, I'm not the most technical person, but this is why I'm using google. Again, I'm getting all emails except for this one group at a .gov department. Is there a way to get help to resolve this one issue or does my little company need to upgrade to the more expensive google service to get a human to help me? any advice about how to get help would be appreciated. I've exhausted the 'help' pages and I'm not technical.
Hmmm. I'm not sure. @KAM might have an idea, maybe? He knows more about email stuff than I do. (To be clear, KAM and I are both just admins out here in the real world, not Googlers, but do our best to help out others....)
Cheers,
Ian
@SACRVA what's the domain name and I'll take a look at a few things? It's very hard to make it so your email doesn't work with just one place so I have a feeling it might be something on the sender side.
