Offline access to shared drives

I have a 5 user Workspace Basic account with a large and growing amount of shared folders and files in Google Drive. Several of the 5 users are frequently working without Internet access. It seems that it is not possible for the users to mirror files and folders from the shared drive to their individual PCs. Furthermore, it is very cumbersome to setup offline access on only a file-by-file basis. Is there any way to make large groups of files or folders available for offline access simultaneously? Would this be any easier if we upgraded to the Workspace Standard subscription with its "Team Drive" feature?

Hi @DoGoodCFO :

See https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/9308619?hl=en for all the details of the various ways to accomplish this.

Hope that helps, at least a little,

Ian

Thanks - already aware of this.  The goal is to easily make a large number of files / folders from a shared drive available offline to multiple users.  In the case of just non-Google docs stored on Drive it is somewhat easier - can be done at the folder level.  But for Google docs it must be done on a file-by-file, user-by-user basis - very cumbersome.  Just wondering if the Team drive feature in the Workspace Standard subscription has any feature to make this easier.

Hi, did you find any solution? I'm wondering about syncing google cloud share folder on my computer with local folder using real time sync app.
