Question about google sites

I recently made a google site. I want to point a domain (from Wix) to the new google site. I verifed ownership of the domain, and followed the instructions, but I must have done something wrong. The site is published, but will not display (except as a google site). The site is set to 'public'.  Google toolbox says there is no record of the CNAME, so I think that's where the mistake is, but I'm beating my head against the wall trying to figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions? What other information do you need?  Thanks!

I've connected a Wix domain to Google Sites before, but I recall it took quite some exploration. Can you confirm your using Wix custom nameservers? It's concerning that your CNAME record isn't visible. Also, you should delete all A/AAAA records to avoid conflicts. Feel free to DM me your domain name and Google Site.
