Redirecting emails from other IMAP server to Google

I have a different IMAP server for my domain. I would like to redirect emails from that domain to Google. Could anyone guide me how to set up the transition?

Hi,

Why don't you take you down your IMAP server and simply redirect your domain name MX records to Google?

If you really want to keep your IMAP server, it depends on what technology it is. Most IMAP servers have a feature for redirecting incoming email to another server.

If you don't you will need to mail server relay. If you are on Linux, the most popular and easiest is Postfix.

If is also wise to ask from where you want the emails to be sent? From your legacy server of from Gmlail?
