Reducing Share Notifications

Links to documents and folders in one of our shared drives are often shared with individuals outside of our organization. Sometimes people forget to give access to those files before sending the link. As a result about a dozen people who are 'managers' in the shared drive get email notifications about the share requests. Is there a way to send these all to one person or eliminate them entirely?

1)what I have seen is the request being only sent to the original creator of it.

2)if your users are sharing the link through Gmail/chat aren't they getting prompted to share the required access to those users?

if not check the below setting for them to get prompted:

3) If you want to prevent people from requesting unnecessarily, disable "Allow people who aren't shared drive members to access files":

as a result the one who dont have access will get:

they will not get an option to request.

It is highly recommended to follow step 2 if not enabled already.
