Revoke access to shared folders

For project purposes we have granted access to external users and internal users to many shared folders.

We would like to remove access in a very quick mode starting from a search of the users granted.

As currently we have in the user's panel regarding shared drives grants

If you have sufficient access to the Shared Drive, you can simply right click the drive, select settings and the remove the tick from "People outside My Company Ltd can be added to files". This will remove access.

If this is to blunt an instrument and you have access to the Google Admin panel and you are on the Enterprise SKU, use the Security investigation tool to search for specific email accounts and revoke access.

You can do this with the free, open source, command-line, indispensable GAM tool. Check out https://github.com/jay0lee/GAM/wiki, https://github.com/taers232c/GAMADV-XTD3/wiki, and https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/google-apps-manager for more details.

Hope that helps,

Ian

I also wrote a blog about GAMADV-XTD3 to help people get started using it.  https://www.ditoweb.com/2021/03/using-open-source-google-apps-manager-to-administer-google-workspace... -KAM
