SAML Certificate Limit

Is there a way to increase the total number of certificates for SAML SSO apps?

Our organization is adding more and more SAML apps and it would make it much easier to divide up the apps with different certificates.  It seems like a lot of work to always have to rotate between 2 certificates.

Are you using Google as IdP or SP?

Can you provide a bit more context on how supporting more certificates would help here?

We currently have 7 different apps that we use SAML login right now and
will be adding more over time. Some of these apps are very annoying to
update the certificate with the 3rd party vendor, some take a very long
time to update. If we were able to have more SAML certs we could stagger
the rotation of the apps more. Plus on the off chance someone does
something very dumb and messes up the cert it doesn't cause all of the apps
we have to inaccessible.
