Searching multiple Google sites

I've recently joined a company that uses Google Sites for their intranet.

There are about 50 different sites. What I've found is that if I go to the main page and search for something it won't show up because it's sitting on another site. But for the employee they should be able to search on the main site and it draw upon all the sites.

Is there a way to implement this in Google Sites?

You can set your search to use "Organization content" instead of just searching the site. It isn't ideal as it will also search their Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc. but its better than nothing.

Hi Sarah,

If your company is using Google Workspace Business Standard and above tiers you have the option of using Google Cloud Search across all your Google Sites to pull in search results. Google Cloud Search can also be used with filters and parameters to provide results from specified Sites. See: https://support.google.com/cloudsearch/answer/6172299#zippy=%2Ccloud-search-operators

Let me know if you need any other support with Google Sites. Happy to help.
