Hallo,
We have a concern related to the Google Workspace update about automatically create group chats when have a schedule meeting in the event calendar. Some of our users think this feature is quite confusing the. And want to turning-off this feature.
I do believe that these auto chat creation functions can be helpful in some cases, but I wish there was a way to control this in any way.
Thank you for your attention.

Same here. There should be a way to disable it or at least make it appear as if it's a suggestion. I just saw that I created a group and added others, which I clearly did not do. It could be greyed out or another way user can confirm they want this chat group created.

So weird, the creating a group thing happened to me 2 days ago as well. I thought I was going crazy, but now reading your post, it seems like some type of glitch.
Hi @wahid2 :
The best way to get this sort of feedback to the team that maintains Chat (or any other Google product) is to use the "Send Feedback" option in the user interface. In the case of Chat, that's in the upper-right corner, under the "?" menu:
For bigger ideas, like for an entirely new feature, those should be posted to the Feature Ideas section here (https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Feature-Ideas/gh-p/workspace-ideas-group) so that it can be upvoted by others and possibly considered as a future feature enhancement.
If you are submitting a feature idea, be sure to explain the problem that you're trying to solve with the feature idea, not just the idea itself. For example, saying "when my users are trying to do 'A', they often get confused by the fact that the buttons to do 'X' and to do 'Y' look quite similar to each other, which leads to this unintended consequence" is far more likely to get fixed than a feature idea that just says "change the color of the button 'Y'".
Cheers,
Ian
