Storage Limit not reflected after switch subscription

Hi,

I switch from Business Plus to Enterprise Plus recently.

However, I notice that the storage limit is still on 5TB per user instead of "Use as much as you need" as per advertised by Goole.

Is there a cooling period I need to wait before the changes take place ? I made the switch less than 24 hours ago.

Thanks.

This is just a cosmetic/virtual limit. When your cumulated storage across all users (number of users * 5 TB storage) reaches the cap, you can request more storage from Google and they will increase your cap for free.

It's "as much as you need" but not "unlimited". In Google's own words:

"Google will provide an initial 5 TB of pooled storage for each user. Customers who want additional storage can request it as needed by contacting Google Support."

Hi,

Thanks for your swift response.

I understand now.

Regards.

can a storage requested be denied? The Enterprise Plan plan indicates the ability to request more storage but this wording does not seem a guarantee and has the ability for Google to change this at any moment ie deny a request for additional storage.
