Suddenly cannot receive emails in my new Google space account

I signed up for a domain via Squarespace 2 weeks ago and separately (not via Squarespace) for a google workspace account with Google. I set up the DNS and was able to send and receive email using my new email account. Then suddenly, a few days ago, I could no longer receive emails from external persons. I can still receive emails if I email myself. I can also still send emails. I thought maybe I have to change something in my DNS at Squarespace but Google instructions for this purpose require me to login to my google admin. Once I try with my correct passport, my browser thinks for a few seconds and then nothing happens. No error, nothing. So I don't know if I have the correct DNS setup. All the help is appreciated!

It sounds like the MX records (part of the DNS setup) may not be set up correctly.
