Support for Sheets as data/file type source in NotebookLM

We have users that want to use Notebook LM for insights grounded in large CSV files.
Sheets file types do not appear to be currently supported.
When will sheets' file types be supported for NotebookLM?

To date, our results for spreadsheets file types uploaded in the Gemini app have not been reliable.

Liked! We really want to be able to load spreadsheet data as sources! That would be extremely useful. To look at it another way, not having the capability to process spreadsheet data is a huge limitation of Notebook LM.

@KevinApodaca - We're really hoping for good functionality to be brought forward with spreadsheets in NotebookLM. It'd be very useful to have sheets and even xlsx files as data sources. We've had users who would be using NotebookLM except their data is primarily in spreadsheets, and it's just not at all realistic to convert those spreadsheets to Google Docs just to get them into NotebookLM. 

I hate to say it, but missing this functionality is casing NotebookLM to lose ground to other AI tools, at least within our company.

It's been months and only support for Microsoft Excel, but not their own spreadsheet tool. Crazy

@MaioMaio - Maybe I'm missing something, but I haven't found how to load Excel (.xlsx) files into Notebook LM. Are you indicating this can be done?
