I recently had to switch my personal account to a Workspace account for a project, because I needed to record Google Meetings. Now, I would like to switch back to my Personal Account, because why would I want to pay 12x more for services that I don't use.
This has proved impossible and the chat assistant just keeps repeating that it is not possible to switch back to a personal account.
If anyone has any insights on how to do this, without losing all of my data, please could you point me in the right direction.
When I check my Google account (not the drive), it still says I am on a Google One account and shows the options to upgrade my storage to Personal Accounts (100GB/200GB etc).
To be clear, I have not registered my domain with Google, but my google account was created with my domain.co.za address (when I created my Personal Account)
If this is the case, there should have been a massive disclaimer.
