Switch to Workspace Versus Pay Plan Upgrade in Google Drive

Hello everyone, I have the following situation:

A client has configured the old Google G suite and has 10 corporate email accounts, for example, manager@maquinariaparaplasticos.com and the client, seeing that the space was not enough in one of his accounts, bought an increase in space in Google Drive to said account.

My question is what happens to accounts that are NOT moved to Workspace and have a Google Drive plan?

At some point all accounts will be moved to Workspace.
And as you can have mixed plan licenses, you will have to subscribe to Business Standard or higher for the users needing more space.
You will have to ask Google or your reseller to activate the MPL option.

MPL = Mixed plan licensing or mixed sku.  One workstance instance with multiple licensing types. HTH, KAM

Mixed Licenses Plans.
The ability to have different Google Workspace plans for different groups
of users.
Example :
6 users → Google Workspace Business Starter
4 users → Google Workspace Business Standard

@CesarMesa I would recommend you open a support ticket in admin.google.com or contact your reseller for questions about mixed plans.  I do not know if they will be available for the new personal use SKU.  -KAM
