Hello! I was under the impression that there was no way to remove the Sent label off of Gmail's sent mail. Has this changed recently?
I was looking into a problem with the Sent mail in Thunderbird not syncing right away - user would send mail via Thunderbird app and it wouldn't show up in Thunderbird's Sent label/folder for 15+ minutes). The Sent label had over 100,000 emails in it, which I thought could be causing an issue in Thunderbird. Previously, while I was able to move emails from Inbox to other labels, that was not possible with the emails under the Sent label.
I then noticed an Archives folder in Thunderbird, and when selecting the Archive option on emails in the Sent label, it successfully removed the Sent label and put the email in Archives! And I'm wondering what the mechanics of this is and if it's new or has always been that way.
