There really should be possible to create deactivated accounts, and activate and deactivate accounts on a given date and time. Extra credits for being able to delete accounts on time to.

I need to add and remove groups of 10-20 users at the end of vacation, and this job would be so much easier with this  kind of basic function.

It is possible to extend the Google Directory and add an attribute that you could then use a script against, and include commands from GAM to suspend or delete an account.

Alternatively, there are tools such as Patronum which already include on and off-boarding policies that can be triggered from these attributes.

I'll look into this, but I have to say that not having this basic feature in the standard catalog, is putting the bar very low on functionality
