Trust Rules Prevent Sharing Externally

Not sure what has changed, if any but I thought there is a way to prevent a specific OU from sharing EXTERNALLY without having to enter in specific external domain using trust rules. But now it doesn't seem like there is?

The Drive Share settings has this feature but why does Trust Rules not? Is there a specific way to do it or has that feature been removed or yet to be added?

yup, this was my experience as well. Seems like you can't explicitly block external sharing,  but you can specifically block internal sharing. Bit of an oversight?
