So I'm trying to register for Google Workspaces with my domain: domainname.io (domain which I own and is currently in use via ProtonMail).
When I try to setup my login account with username@domainname, I receive an error: "chose a different username, this username it not available".
So just to verify I have not in the past created a google account associated with username@domainname, I try to login at https://accounts.google.com. I then get the message: "can't find your Google Account"
I tried contacting Google One, as I did not find other options to contact Google. Their support after speaking with 3 different employees (let's just say the quality was very "interesting" of their support) said something like: "username@domainname.io is not a personal or business account, but I can't tell you what it is" very strange and vague.
Anyone any idea how to solve this one?
