Hello Workspace Community! July’s theme is Frontline Workers, who make up over 80% of the global workforce and have carried a disproportionate burden during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, many feel their needs - including technology - have been overlooked, and they’re struggling as a result.

In fact, 70% of these workers said technology would help them do their jobs better, but only 35% say that they’ve received additional technology during the pandemic.

Google Workspace Frontline was created in response to the specific needs and challenges of frontline workers, opening up communication and collaboration channels between frontline workers and corporate teams in a way that’s safe and secure.

With Google Workspace Frontline, your organization has access to services such as Gmail, Meet, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Chat, and Sites, as well as advanced administrative controls including:

  • Advanced endpoint management: Have more control over your organization's data. You can require stronger passwords, wipe devices remotely, manage iOS apps, use Android work profiles, and more. Learn more
  • Drive audit log: View your users activity in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites. Learn more
  • Data protection insights reports: View reports about Drive files in your organization that contain sensitive data. Learn more

Check out how Cambridge Health Alliance saved over a million dollars a year by utilizing Google Workspace to enable their hybrid workforce and provide care for their 140,000+ clients.

We’d also love to hear from any of you admins out there! How have you used Google Workspace for frontline teams? Please share in the comments!
