Update about Shared Drives becoming available to Business Starter customers

Google announced in May 2023 that the Business Starter storage model would be updated from per-user to pooled storage. They stated, "Shared drives will become available after pooled storage rolls out to all existing Business Starter customers".(https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2023/05/pooled-storage-shared-drives-for-google-workspace-bu...).

They also stated in support page 'Set up shared drives for your organization', "Business Starter customers will get access to some shared drives functionality later in 2023." Sadly it was changed in December 2023 to "Business Starter customers will get access to some shared drives functionality later in 2024." Since the initial announcement, I have been eagerly checking if Shared Drive features are available for Business Starter users in my domain. Do you have any information or hunch about when Google will finish rolling out pooled storage to all Business Starter customers, so we can finally gain access to Shared Drives? If not a date, at least a progress update regarding this current process.

My hunch is hopefully before December 2024, but I'm not holding my breath!

Still waiting.  I've stopped giving updates on new features as they seam to be taking so long to implement.  I announced pooleed starage last year and staff were getting folders preped to move and now we are still waiting.
