Upgrade to Education Plus

I am part of a small group who have been moved to Education Plus in advance of moving our entire district to this paid version.

I am unable to utilize the add-ons in Google Classroom.

Google Admin has made the add-ons available.

Add-ons shows that they are installed - but nothing is functional.

My colleagues have followed the exact same steps that I have to install the add-ons and theirs are functional.

Steps I have taken:

Logged in and out of Chrome and Google

Guest mode 

Different device

Turned off all my extensions

Cleared my cache

 

Anyone heard of something like this -- or more importantly - how to fix it?

Sounds like you might have an error with your Education Plus License (I haven't seen issues with Classroom Add-Ons, but seen something similar with Meet Recordings) - get someone with access to the admin console (or if you have access - do this yourself) - remove the license, press save, then add the license again - this seems to wake things up. If that fails open a support ticket with Google from the Admin Console. 

We tried this and finally were able to connect with some Google engineers
who watched my screen as I walked through the process. They discovered
something on their end that then corrected my issue. That has been several
weeks ago.
