Uploading files is not permitted when data loss prevention is enabled for your domain.

Hi there,

I am trying to fill out a form sent on by my trainer and this message keeps coming up. I am not aware that I enabled any of these settings and have been able to access these forms previously. Does anyone know how I disable turn this DLP setting or get around it?

Hello!

On Admin console, go to Security > Data protection.

Go to manage rules and deactivate any rule you want.

With this you will solve the problem immediately.

But i recommend to partake on the beta of dlp for files upload on forms:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9UQ5cwR1o4CjBfjyM9j8KsMco1GvTsMkUAXyn_E0ePVOBBg/viewform

This will solve the problem after activate the program.

Then you will be able to reactivate your dlp rules and will not get the problem with the forms.

You can get all the info here.

Can you please explain this beta program to me? I am not going to just sign up for a random beta and risk my Google Workspace integrity without knowing what this does or is about. I have many clients who are currently unable to access our Disbursement Request Forms that they need as part of their account services with our company. This seems to only be affecting our new clients, as forms created prior to a few weeks ago are not giving this error, but we have 10-15 new accounts per week, so I need to figure the solution out quickly.  Help! Thanks.
