Using Google Workspace with Multiple Domains: Alias Setup and Email Forwarding

I have two domains: firstdomain.com and seconddomain.com (managed in Squarespace).

The first domain is connected to Google Workspace, and I use the address (PII Removed by Staff).

On the second domain, I have multiple addresses such as (PII Removed by Staff). Currently, these addresses are forwarded to regular free Gmail accounts (for example, (PII Removed by Staff) is forwarded to (PII Removed by Staff).

I don't want to pay for three users on Workspace, but I do want to use my Google Workspace with both domains.

Is there a way that I can use (PII Removed by Staff) with my Workspace and still forward all other addresses to Gmail? I have tried to make seconddomain.com a secondary domain on my Google Workspace, but then I can't forward the other addresses anymore.

Hi, 

If you are able to use the domain as you see fit if you verify it, as long as you do not change MX records the email delivery should work as normal, the only reason why you would not be able to use the old accounts if you add the domain as a secondary domain is if they are free unmanaged accounts. in this situation yes, you are unable to use the domain without loosing access to the unmanaged accounts.
