Was using GWS to manage Android devices, but it all stopped working for no reason.

I work at a small independent school and was using Google Workspace to manage Android tablets the pupils use. Everything was going fine for the last 2 months and it was working smoothly. I have certain whitelisted apps that are allowed for the pupils to access, but out of no where it stopped working and they have access to the full Play store now.

I also noticed that the original directory for those Android settings has been removed (previously Devices > Mobile & Endpoints >Android Settings) has vanished from the main sidebar. I can still access that directory via the search and it suggest all my rules are still in place, but it doesn't work as it did.

Any ideas?
