Workplace and working hours - Did Google make some changes?

Hi all, 

I saw that Google did change some of the settings in Calendar when accessing your workplace. Before that update it was possible to define when and where you are going to be for all weeks. If something changed regarding the workplace you could do that in the week view for one day. 

I set my workplace to home from Tuesday to Friday. Now I wanted to change Friday to office and Calendar was offering to change the whole week beginning on Tuesday to office. 

Is this behavior new? And if it is new Google has to revert that asap again. This is making that feature useless. 

Did I miss something here? Any ideas?

@Tom_Sch can you show a screen recording of what you mean?  I have just looked at the settings in my calendar and can change a single day to the office from home:

@StephenHind Not sure if you read my reply. Was not posted as a reply. The recording you are showing isn't what I was talking about. If you change it is in the calendar view the new settings are different not really intuitive.

I am not talking about the settings. I am talking about calendar itself. You can change the place there as well, but the new UI is worse than before. You need to change the date and if you do it for just one day the rest of the week is deleted. At least in my case. The new interface and how it works is really bad.

@Tom_Sch yes I saw your previous comment: you're right changing via the week view on calendar doesn't work well, but I have never changed it there is the past so I don't know how it's changed, sorry.

In the past you just changed it for the day without going through a lot settings. You just changed the location or added a new one. Super simple and I have no idea why they changed that. But it is Google we talking about 😉
