Workspace: Gemini vs Gemini Advanced

I upgraded to the paid version of Gemini in May. Recently, my app says Gemini Advanced. Then yesterday, I ran out of "tokens" for the first time.

I am frustrated for many reasons but let me start by asking the main question I need answered:

Why can't I switch between Gemini and Gemini Advanced like many Google results tell me to do if I want to avoid the token restrictions?

I am frustrated because:

1. The tasks that have been straightforward (until Advanced) cost me a ton of extra time because Gemini's responses aren't clear and sometimes irrelevant to what I ask.
2. This requires me to correct Gemini Advanced using extra "tokens". When the responses aren't good (or even applicable), I have to correct Gemini Advanced. This takes extra time and tokens. 
3. Yesterday, I never finished the tasks that typically take me 1-2 hours with the use of Gemini, and I ran out of tokens and eventually out of time.

Hi, I don't believe this is the right forum for this. Gemini for Google Workspace does not allow you switch versions of Gemini in the app. You are referencing the consumer Google One AI Premium service

I'm new to this forum because I've been on Google trying to figure out why I cannot switch between Gemini and Gemini Advanced like search results say that I should be able to do.

Are you sure Google Workspace does NOT allow you to switch between versions of the Gemini app? If not, why and how can you confirm this?

What is the correct forum for posts about Gemini (regular or Advanced)?

I would still like to discover why the quality of Gemini's responses drastically changed over the past week.

Gemini for Google Workspace does not let you switch between models and
always uses the best available model.

I'm not aware of dedicated forums for the consumer service other than the
Google One support page
