So I received an email saying that my domain name expired and to "add years" I should click the link in the email, which took me to Google Workspace, having me believe that's where to renew my domain name and it's necessary to pay through there, which I did... I then go to my google domains page to find out that what I had paid on the google Workspace didn't renew my domain name.
I don't use Google Workspace and I don't use the email service and whatever other added services like website builder.
I would like to delete the Workspace, but I had already submitted a payment.
What can I do to cancel that payment and get refunded??
or at least transfer that credit to my actual domain name service???
There must be a way to make this right or I'll be really disappointed.

I recommend you to talk with google support.
In the top right corner of you admin console, theres a icon to ask for support:
I think that this is the only viable option to your problem.
After you solve the payment problem, you just have to delete your panel.
Admin console > Account settings > Account management > Delete account.

Thank you for your response. The support only takes to general questions and answers and no real support. I have already deleted the account, as I was being charged monthly without me knowing/using it.
