Workspace Tools

How can I automate workflows using Google Workspace tools?

Hello @akm1

You can use Google Appscripts, to create workflows on Google Workspace, it's free!
But, you need to know Javascript...
Luckily, today you have generative ai with Google Gemini or Chat GPT,  you can just ask them to create the script for you with just a simple prompt.

You can check the service on script.google.com

I create tons of automation with google workspace and third party solutions, for example:
When a ticket is create on my freshservice(TIcket system), i receive a message on my google chat.

You can create tools that are not related to GWS at all too, for example:
I create an webapp that you can use to check the authentication of a domain.

The possibilities are infinite, it's only depends of what you want to do.

Hope it helps!

All great suggestions so far. One additional option for workflow automation in GWS is AppSheet. AppSheet is Google's no-code platform for workflow automation. AppSheet is fully integrated with Workspace, you can use Sheets as a backend, build chat integrations with your app, leverage Gemini, and so much more.

AppSheet Core licenses are part of most paid Workspace subscriptions and should be enough for small groups of users and small workflows. If you need central Governance, policy enforcement, and expanded capabilities, you may need to upgrade to AppSheet Enterprise.
