Hello, In a Google Drive, how to zip a set of folders ans subfolders with Google Sheets documents WITHOUT any format change. I mean, I dont want to change my sheets to Excel .xlsx We just need to build a zip of Google Docs, Google Sheets ans Google Forms with Google formats inside. If needed, which application to install to build a Zip without any format change in oder to distribut this Zip to my Google Workspace community? Best Regards
Google Docs/Sheets/Slides don't have a native file format that could be zipped. From a (simplified) technical point of view, they're just entries in a database on Google's servers. So any exporting/downloading/zipping/etc. always converts to the equivalent MS Office formats (for better or worse).

Am I right if I write that:
1) In my Google Drive, I want to distribute to several user a Template of directory trees with inside Google Sheets documents.
2) If I download my Template from Google Drive to my computer, I obtain a Zip File on my computer.
3) On Google Drive, if I upload the Zip File from my computer to my Google Drive, I get the Zip file that I can Unzip with the Zip Extractor application for Google Drive.
4) After extracting files and folder with "Zip Extractor" on Google Drive I get Folders and .xlsx Excel files.
a) Are these xlsx files also entries in the database on Google servers?
b) To retrieve all my importrange functions inside all my Google Sheets files, inside each sheet xlsx must I use the menus File / Save as Google Sheets File?
