eSignature feature

Recently there was an announcement regarding eSegnature Beta program. The form to sign up for that is no longer accepting application, so I was wondering was that released already or is there a way to try this out. Thanks!

Hey @sergiikauk , we are no longer accepting beta applications. Users will have to wait until the feature releases to try it out.

Fortunately, the release date is very very soon!

What is the release date?  Is "soon" a month, six months, a year?

tentative by end of Q1

Hi! What is the scheduled release date of this feature now? Thank you!

I'd like to know when the release date for this is, as well.

Wondering if we could get an update as when this will be available to business users?

Hi, we got the feature rolled out last week on our side.

Is there any announcement?

I spoke with Google, and they said they will NOT release this to any customers.

What do you mean "not release" this? Isn't it a feature that will become part of Workspace?

Google will likely be charging for eSignature in Workspace (not Individual)
The beta has been closed, and beta participants have already found out about the charging.  Guessing it will be about the same cost as Adobe Sign.

@jo-cpa Where are you getting such information from?

Yes, real bummer right?
We've all been waiting a year and now this.

Your statements are not accurate. Please provide what you are using as your source of information.

From a Google Cloud Partner. I can't say their name as they've requested I refrain (when I brought up your inquiry).  I thought it was public knowledge.  Doesn't matter in our case because we've already re-upped with Adobe Sign since this will not be offered for Google Workspace for Education Plus (only individual).
Guessing some people in support probably don't know.

Could you please back up your assertion with some publicly-posted evidence? Nameless sources don't hold a whole lot of weight, especially given the posts I linked to earlier. If this change you're asserting exists but hasn't (yet?) been publicly announced, it's probably not a good idea to be posting about it in a public-to-the-internet forum. Google takes their NDAs pretty seriously.

Please refrain from posting unsubstantiated information on a public forum. All the statements you've made are incorrect.

The partner you are in communication with (and any workspace customer with access to the roadmap for that matter) can go see the latest information in that slide deck.
