Hello @admin4870,
Thank you for joining our Community. I'm moving your post to the Workspace Q&A. I'm also changing the label on your post from 'Neel' to 'Gmail'. This will ensure that you get the assistance that you are looking for, as this board is a virtual watercooler to connect and network.

I don't have reference documentation to you point you to, but experience as a career IT Admin has demonstrated to me that IMAP has definite performance limits, and I would generally advise to not use it on mailboxes larger than 10GB... maybe up to 12GB. Your post here is yet another testimony to this. Gmail and Google also impose their own bandwidth limits on functions like IMAP. You might want to consider an offline archiving approach with a mailbox of that size, and/or use Takeout  to get yourself an initial export out of Gmail which you can then use as a seed to load into your Apple Mail app.

I totally agreed that for the best performance we need to keep only a few data on IMAP, but the issue is that when the user needs everything synced in his all device and not ready to move data to archive while using apple email it's really difficult. we are administrators we can suggest but can't take the decision and trying to make it happen..
