how to block user search use "source:domain"
That search only shows all files that have been set to be visible by all members of your Workspace domain. If there are files that have that level of sharing permission set, the fix is to update the sharing settings on the sensitive files and restrict them to just the people/groups that should be allows to see them. See https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2494893?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop for how to do that.
Merely blocking them from being found with this specific search term doesnโt protect them from being found with other search terms. For example, searching for owner:email@example.org will show all files owned by the user email@example.org that the person doing the search has permission to access.
Hope that helps,
Ian
I think it's error on google . look at the year at last modified date . so we cannot block the key "source:domain" on search at google drive? it's very naked, all the file that sharing show up
It sounds like this may be an issue that's more likely to get solved by contacting Google Support (see https://support.google.com/a/answer/1047213?hl=en for how) than posting here.
i think this menu from google , searchable is the problem. how can i set default to "must have link to access"?
