is storage limited during the trial period?

1. I signed up for Business Standard, and I am going through the trial period. Is the storage limited during this period? I should have 2TB, but only seem to have 200GB.

2. If it is limited during the trial period, does that apply to other things? eg I have put a lot of notes into Keep, but they are not showing on the app on my phone (iphone).

Thanks.

There should not be a limit, refer to this article to contact support to be sure, and to see what is going on- https://support.google.com/a/answer/1047213?sjid=6242222645198785403-NC&visit_id=638508921284565359-...

You can also refer to this link for checking storage availability and limits- https://support.google.com/a/answer/10431555?hl=en&sjid=6242222645198785403-NC

Hi, ithanks, I checked with support. It turns out that you only get 10% of storage until you start paying, which is fair enough.

Oh alright, that makes sense. glad you got an answer.

Okayy

Thanks for confirming this.

I was just freaking out wondering how the hell I was supposed to migrate from the crappy 365 service without the space being provisioned.

I guess it stops people doing stupid things but how are we supposed to "TEST" the product with it's hands held behind it's back? I was caught completely unaware at 300gb/2users and it was not NEAR enough. Some fore-warning would have been great as I'm expecting their to be a huge pool.

Hi! I am having the same issue. I bought the Google Workspace Business Standard and I switched from the trial period directly into the payable period. Still it did not change, so i contacted the support team. After inquiring why the capacity did not went up form the given 200GB during the trail period, to the 2TB during the payable period, i got the response that it will increase gradually in the period of 60 days. This is simply OUTRAGEOUS ! I am paying for this service and I am told that I will have the full functionality in 60 days? Is this a joke? I enclose the sreenshots below.screen3.JPG

@ginnyr are You able to help me with that?

Hey, I don't work on the support team, I am an account manager for workspace. But I done some research just now and found this "

Pooled storage is granted in stages:

  • At the time of purchase, you get part of your storage.
  • As you make timely payments for your subscription, your storage increases up to your total storage limit. It can take up to 72 hours after a payment for your storage to increase.

Here is the link to where I found the info if you wan't to read more-  Click Here

I am not sure if that means you are stuck waiting or you have the option of lifting it by paying early. I would reach out to support again and ask that question if that is an option you want to explore. I hope this information was helpful. Here is a link on reaching support Click Here

I'm not clear why this would be outrageous. A new customer would not need full storage access unless they intended to max it out on day one. Why is a phased ramping up a problem?
