I have registered a workspace for non-profits. It's been approved and I want to start using it. The tutorial says I have to access the admin console with an email that is NOT a gmail. Well, I do not have that yet for this non-profit. I used gmail all the time. Also when applying for non-profit version of workspace.
What to do and how to access and start using the workspace itself then?
This seems to happen very frequently for nonprofits that are new to Workspace. What seems to work for most is to "recover" your admin access to workspace. See the various options for "recovering" admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.
There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.
