upgrading to Google Workspace Business Starter

I considering upgrading to Google Workspace Business Starter. from my current Free Legacy Edition of G Suite for personal use

GWBS This comes with 30GB storage. I have recently purchased 'Google Workspace Additional Storage (1TB)'  but I am currently unable to use it in my current Free edition. (why it let me purchase this I don't know, but here we are)

If I upgrade to GWBS, can I use that (currently useless) storage?

Hi Mule,

The free legacy G Suite edition has very limited features and no official support. It was never designed to integrate with the newer paid add-ons like the additional storage. That's why it's currently unusable for you. The system likely allowed the purchase because it's a valid Google Workspace add-on, but your current plan doesn't meet the prerequisites to activate it. Google Workspace Business Starter is a paid, and supported plan. It is designed to work with add-ons like additional storage. Once your account is upgraded it becomes an "eligible licensed user" for such add-ons. I hope this helps.
