I recently heard the news about moving free tier users to a paid subscription, so I followed suit and tried to sign up. I saw the promotion was free for a few months yet, then 50% discount for another 12, then paid thereafter.
However, the billing was set to US, not Australia. I contacted support had that rectified. This "fix" blew away that promotion, and I'm now paying full rate - so ~$33AUD a month for 4 inboxes.
I asked support to reapply the promotion, but they said they couldn't, and I should contact the advertising team. Given a 4 user account isn't going to get them much in return - they're not going to care - and obviously don't going by the the zero correspondence I've had with them.
I've also since read that google wasn't "aware" so many low-user accounts (such as myself) existed - and are potentially looking into options here, with it reading that a potentially stripped down/cheaper serivce as an offering. As such, there's also a survey going out to capture the use cases for people - but that's only being sent to those on the free tier?
So, to that end:
1. How do I get the migrate-to-paid-service promition back?
2. How do I get put on a plan that is better costed to smaller accounts - should one come to be created?
3. How do I get to give feedback on my service - ie, access to this survey?
Have been using Gsuite/workspaces since 2008ish, and I'm more than happy to pay a reasonable amount to continue to use this platform, but does seem a bit ordinary that I've moved, lost the promotion costs, then found out there's a bit of a backflip on moving free tier to paid tier....
