I have sent my referral number to a client.
He signed up for Workspace and he logged 5 emails.
But from my summary (that arrives on email) I see only 1 referral and not 5.
What did I do wrong?

Great question! When your referred client signs up to Google Workspace it is best for them to set-up all the users (emails) within the first 14 days. According to the terms the smallest number of users that were added during day 15-90 will count towards your referral bonus.
You can find this information on the terms page - 7. Payment: "Referral Fees will be calculated by using the lowest quantity of Eligible Referral end users purchased during the period beginning as of the 15th day of initial Services payment through the completion of the 90 days period"
If your referred client adds additional users ("emails") after the 90 days, you unfortunately won't get rewarded for these additional users that were created. Additionally those new users would not be the "lowest quantity of Eligible Referral end users".
(Note: I'm waiting on the payment team to confirm that the 5 users ("emails") that you have associated with your referral link (and listed as 1 (one) eligible referral) is accurate and will count towards your referral bonus.)

Could you please share your unique referral link with me, so that we can take a look at the referrals that were made to that link.
Also just to clarify, the number of referrals that is showing up in the dashboard email, is different from the number of users that signed up to the referred account. We will know the number of users you will be rewarded for once they have completed the 90 days of being a Google Workspace member.
Once we have your unique referral link we can look into that in more detail

Using this link, a new workspace account was created in February and 5 emails were created. But only 1 mail was counted.

I heard back from the payment team and it seems you did not have a payment profile. Look out for an email in the next couple of days with a link to your payment profile where you can provide your bank details.
Use the payment guide linked within the email with steps on how to add the information that is needed to complete your payment profile.
If you complete your payment profile and add your bank information before the 15th of June, you could be paid at the end of this month
