What are AppSheet Feature Ideas?
The AppSheet Feature Ideas forum is the place to share your ideas on how to make AppSheet a better product. Community Members are also encouraged to upvote their support of an idea through likes and adding comments to other people's requests they believe would impact their work as well.
Successfully Submitting AppSheet Feature Ideas
- When submitting ideas, describe the business problem you want to solve. Beyond just describing your feature ideas, please explain the challenges you face today and the "better way" you would like to be able to get your job done.
- Before adding a new feature suggestion, check out the forum to ensure your idea has not already been suggested.
- The Feature Ideas Forum is not a place to post bugs about existing AppSheet features or services. For bug reports, please use the appropriate Community boards to find a solution or contact AppSheet Support.
- Additionally, the function should not be used to suggest ideas for the AppSheet Community. Please limit Feature Ideas to AppSheet. Please use the Community Feedback Board.
- Note that Irrespective of votes and comments, we cannot promise that every suggestion will be considered, though the feedback and insights from AppSheet users is critical to help identify the most important and useful ideas.

Do Product Teams review our ideas?
As you can imagine, we receive an overwhelming amount of ideas from the AppSheet Community and other Google channels around how to improve AppSheet. While we are unable to reply to every idea that is shared, we are absolutely listening. Our goal is to prioritize introducing the most impactful features for our users and delivering a platform that you love.
What do the statuses mean?
- Open: This idea is open for voting.
- Under Review: The idea is being reviewed.
- Planned: On our current for a future release roadmap.
- Not Planned: This idea was declined and won’t be implemented.
- Delivered: This idea has been implemented.
Feature Ideas is a peer-to-peer platform that provides a space to express your ideas while collaborating with other customers and crafting neat workarounds.
Why hasn't the status of my idea been updated?
Feature Ideas is best used for spotlighting customer problems with associated specific use cases. They are more about the why and less about the how. This opens up a lot more possibilities for both the product team and the community to come up with innovative solutions or workarounds, often ones that you maybe haven't considered!
Content Moderation, Consolidation & Deletion
Occasionally, Feature Idea submission may be moderated including changes to labels, grammatical updates and removal of language that violates our Community Guidelines. Moderators might also consolidate duplicate ideas, relocate ideas that are more appropriate for another area of the Community such as support, community feedback, etc. Certain content may also be removed if it violates Privacy or Disclosure parameters.
Remember that all content shared within the Google Cloud Community is subject to moderation in accordance with the below policies.
