Getting a Datagroup Trigger Value to use in LookML

This might be a long shot question, but I would like to know if there is any way I can get the trigger value that is shown in admin > database > datagroups for a created datagroup.

I would like to be able to use that so that I can filter a dashboard on the max_date I’m getting. Sometimes the max date is not yesterday it could be 2 days ago depending on time of day.

Thanks

hi K-Cassar. Derived table which selects max date, join that in to explore and then filter where that max dt field is not null.

Thanks Ian that’s how I did it 🙂 I was just wondering if there’s another way using data Looker is already collecting.

It’s a nice thought, unlikely but there is some secret lookml attributes not documented so fingers crossed for you KCGL.
