We are trying to set up the "call companion" feature to test a specifc use case with DialogFlow CX.
And it seems "call companion" does not work within DialogFlow CX
May you pls confirm ?
For information we enabled "Dialogflow Phone Gateway", and checked the "Enable call companion" option.

The "call companion" feature was not officially supported in Dialogflow CX. However, as you have also discovered, Call Companion works with Dialogflow Phone Gateway.
The feature might not be working because of the limitations.
To receive the SMS for Call Companion, you have to go to agent settings > 'multi modal' tab > 'Call companion settings' section.
Either enable sending SMS at the beginning of the call, or go to a fulfillment and check 'Send Call Companion SMS' toggle there.
Still, It's not working.
@tianzhu I have updated dialogflow cx settings for call companion as per your suggestion but still it's not working.
Does the call trigger the fulfillment that contains 'Send Call Companion SMS' option? The SMS is only sent when the conversation flow reach the fulfillment that says it's time to send SMS. This is for meeting the requirements that virtual agent may be designed to get user confirmation before sending SMS.
Hello there I followed the steps above going to the multi modal settings and also tried with the fullfillment option. However I still am not getting a call companion text. I am also using it with Dialogflow Phone Gateway. However it is not sending.

Also @dfrojack or @technocouple did any of you guys figure it out?
